RTT® and Medical Conditions

Rapid Transformational Therapy® is a form of hypnotherapy that combines a number of therapeutic techniques to help the client find the root cause of why they feel the way they do.

It is recognized that the mind has an influence on the body and RTT® is a form of practical neuroplasticity.

Neuroplasticity

Neuroplasticity, also known as neural plasticity, or brain plasticity, is the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization.

It is when the brain is rewired to function in some way that differs from how it previously functioned.

This is a natural state and is similar to when a surgeon creates the environment for a body part to heal.

The doctor does not heal the client, they create the environment for the client to heal.

RTT® creates, through neuroplasticity, an environment where the client is able to realize the root cause of the issue and then make choices to change that belief.

This change often has a positive physical change in the client's body as the mind is not separate from the body but works in harmony with it.

These new neural connections can help the client recover from both physical and psychosomatic issues.

The word psychosomatic is the term used to describe the cause or aggravation by which a mental factor such as internal conflict or stress, relates to the interaction of mind and body.

Working within scope

It is important to understand that this is a relatively new science and this is why as part of the training our students undergo education on working within their scope of knowledge, following our code of ethics.

RTT® Therapists and practitioners are not medical therapists, although we do train many doctors and healthcare professionals who then use the RTT® tools within their clinical practice.

Working with medical conditions

When working with medical conditions we advised all therapists and practitioners to work with medically qualified personnel if they do not have a full clinical understanding of certain conditions.

They must not prescribe or advise clients to come off medication unless they are qualified to do so.

It is recognized that Hypnotherapy should not be used with anyone with Psychosis or Epilepsy as the change in brave wave state when using hypnosis could trigger an episode.

Where hypnosis is used with clients who have been diagnosed with a condition such as Psychosis or Epilepsy this should be done under medical supervision.

The RTT® training school does not train in specific niches, however, the course does give examples of how RTT® has been used to treat certain conditions and these are for educational purposes and are not intended to form a formal training platform in which therapists and practitioners can claim they have the knowledge to work with people unless they have prior experience or are qualified to do so.

RTT® can be used with both clinical and none clinical issues such as money blocks, confidence, and public speaking so there are lots of opportunities for graduates who do not have experience in medical and clinical settings to make a real impact in people's lives.

The RTT® Training school operates a Do No Harm policy and this information is communicated throughout all of our courses.
